Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Intellibotz.net ("Intellibotz", "we", "us") collects when you use the site, why we collect it, and who we share it with. It describes what this site actually does, not a generic template — if something below stops being accurate as the site changes, we'll update this page.

Information we collect

Vendor account information. If you register a vendor account to submit or claim a listing, we store your email address and a securely hashed password — we never store your password itself. Browsing the directory, reading listings, and comparing tools never requires an account.

Content you submit. Listing submissions (name, type, description, website URL), listing claims, comments, and reviews are stored and associated with your vendor account so we can show them back to you and moderate them before they're shown to others.

Compare list. The tools you add to the comparison tray are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device — we never see or store that list ourselves.

Server logs. Like any website, our web server records technical details of each request (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies

If you're signed in to a vendor account, we set two session cookies to keep you logged in. Forms on the site also use a security cookie that protects them against cross-site request forgery. All of these are inaccessible to page scripts. We also use Microsoft Clarity, described below, which sets its own cookies to understand how the site is used.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your vendor account, and keep you signed in
• To show you your own listings, submissions, comments, and reviews
• To moderate publicly-submitted content (listings, comments, reviews) before it goes live
• To keep the site secure and diagnose problems
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it, via Microsoft Clarity

We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties we use

These services process data on our behalf, each under their own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare — routes traffic to our servers and provides basic security protection
• Our web hosting provider — runs the servers this site is served from
• Microsoft Clarity — records how visitors use the site (clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session replays) so we can improve it; text typed into forms is masked and never recorded. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your vendor account information for as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account or personal data, contact us using the email below — this isn't yet a self-service feature, so we handle these requests manually.

Children's privacy

Intellibotz is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. Contact us using the email below to exercise any of these rights.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
